Social Media
Why you need to get on board with social media. You may wonder, why do I need a blog? Why do I need to tweet? Why do I need a page on Facebook? These are all valid questions, which I will answer.
So, you want good SEO, Word Press lands high rankings on Google. Why? I don't know, maybe the CEO's are buddies from college. Anyway, it works. I know of a storage facility that has leveraged Word Press blogging for good rankings. Does a storage facilty need a blog? The answer is "yes" if you want good rankings on Google.
I've worked with other businesses and advised them to use Word Press, and you know what? It works. Keep people up to date, place as much information about your business as you can. Maybe you have a nicely designed site, that doesn't need to be content heavy. If this is the case, it's time for a blog. I can't say enough, but the search engines love information, information, information!! You can't always update your web site, but you can always update your blog. Also you can pull in your Twitter tweets if you have the right Word Press Template or widget. I know, it all seems silly and redundant, but if you want to have an edge, start blogging, tweeting, and get your business on Facebook.
Keep people informed, let them know everything about your business and why you're better than the rest, how you can better serve the consumer, start a dialogue, get kudos from clients, put yourself ahead of the competition. One of our Team members Jeff C is a wordpress master. No matter how simple or complex your blogging needs to be, we can help, advise, and even write for you.
Social media has become the norm. It's basically a necessity to succeed in today's competive and modern market.

Though it doesn't quite give you all the answers, Wikipedia has a good definition of Social Media. Click here to learn more.
Facebook
The developer of Facebook was about 25 years old, when Google offered him $200 million for his web site/ web application. Surprisingly,
he turned down the offer and was considered "foolish" by the web experts. Now Facebook is worth over 4 Billion.
Why is facebook worth so much? Because it is the biggest social media site on the planet. It's used world wide to start organizations, find old friends,
build a social network and most of all, to promote yourself or your business. Building a fan page for you or your business is free and easy.
Don't leave a stone unturned if you're trying to get ahead. Face book is a great marketing tool and doesn't cost a cent to get on board.
You can see facebook here. And you can build your "fan page" here.
If you like, you can hire our social media experts to do this for you. We'd be happy to consult and do the work for you.
Twitter
I think Twitter is silly, but not too silly to ignore. I have hooked up my Twitter account to my blog and to my Facebook page, and I can tweet as often as I feel like.
I can tweet about my everyday life, or advances in my business.
You'd be surpised to see how many people actually pay attention to your tweets.
This is another great self promotion application that is absolutely free.
If you have a business that needs promoting I suggest you start tweeting. You can sign up here Twitter.com
But be wise, and don't over tweet. After all, you don't want to annoy your friends and clients. Think before you tweet, and make sure it's important.
You can also hire us to set up your Twitter account, and manage your tweets. We'd be more than happy to get you started and maintain your Twitter feeds.
Word Press Blogging
OK, before I get ahead of myself, I'll let you check out what wikipedia says about Word Press here.
Word Press is the ultimte blogging software. And if you're a programmer, it can become the ultimate CMS (Content Management System).
Built on PHP and MySQL software, this blogging tool is a must for those who want to leverage social media, or have full control over the content and media of their web site.
It's super easy to use, but may take a programmer to set up initially. Fortunately, we have such a programmer on our team, including me, Sean Caillouette and Jeff C.
I have been using and modifying Word Press for my own personal endeavours since 2008. I know 2 years isn't a long time,
but the hours I have put in have come up beneficial and worthwhile. You might want to consider building your site, with our team, in Word Press.
It is fully customizable and built on "open source" software development.
There are over 1,000 free templates and many creative themes for free or for sale if you just searh for "wordpress themes."
Note* we don't endorse or promote any of these themes. If you decide you like one, and would like to use it for your web site, please contact us before you make the purchase.
We can advise and give you the necessary information regarding your Word Press theme and web development.
